The upgraded 4-leg design is a huge improvement over standard tripods. For the AI auto-tracking, I highly recommend keeping the height around 50-60 inches (1.2m-1.5m). The tracking is incredibly smooth at this range and it’s more than enough for recording my daily videos.
It does extend all the way up to about 71 inches, which feels awesome for wide static selfies and group shots. To be fair, if you try to use the dynamic auto-tracking at its absolute maximum height, it can get a little wobbly. But I totally understand that the max height is clearly designed for static filming, not fast movement. I actually wanted to try tracking at the max height anyway, and I used a clever hack I saw in the seller’s QA: I just placed a small Amazon delivery box on the base legs to add some weight, and it worked perfectly! The remote is super handy too. A very solid piece of gear.
